BACK STORY

Way back in 1987, Andrea and Bob Sonfield retired to Hilton Head with their three children after successful careers in New Orleans. Bob had been President of Maison Blanche department stores and Andy was an advertising exec. Together they had opened three Workbench furniture stores in the 80's. Taking life easy on beautiful Hilton Head Island seemed like a just reward ! But they soon tired of retirement and jumped back into creating a new furniture store on Hilton Head. ......And found a location on New Orleans Rd.  How serendipitous was that!
